The amount indicated in the booking calendar, is the 30% downpayment of the full ticket, to be paid in order to reserve the tour. The 70% balance will have to be sent through a wire transfer to my bank account or via PayPal thirty days before the date of the tour. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and PayPal.

Strongly discounted for the photographers’ accompanying spouse, partner, or friend, who, in fact, will be paying only the 30% of the entire fee, to cover his or her hotel, meals, and transportation costs.

Financially convenient for those photographers that, creating a group of 3 or 4 people traveling together will be granted a 30% discount on their own, individual fee.

To be noted: Lodging is on very nice three star Hotels or Country houses "Agriturismi". For those wishing to be accommodated on four or five star Hotels or Country houses, there will be an extra fee to be determined on the client's demand before the booking is finalized.

Cancellation and Refund Policy (based on the 30% advance payment):

more than 6 months from the start date of the Workshop: 100% refund minus $250 service fee.

Please note that these deadlines are valid for those booking the tours scheduled from October 2024 and on. For those booking tours before then, the times and deadlines of the cancellation policy will be proportionally and reasonable flexible according to the starting date of the chosen photography workshop.
If your booking is filled by another participant, the refund will be in full minus a $250 service charge, nonetheless we recommend having a Trip Cancellation & Travel Insurance booking the tour.
We keep the right to cancel the tour before departure for reasons such as logistical problems, public or personal health issues, social turmoil, wars, climatic disasters, or any other circumstances which may determine the impossibility of the trip. Should this happen, we will promptly refund all trip payments received. Though, we will be not held responsible for any expenses sustained by tours members in preparing for the trip. Those include nonrefundable or penalty-carrying airline tickets, visa or passport fees or other trip related expenses.

After having made three absolutely fascinating photo tours with Giulio in Rome I decided to make a one-week tour through Umbria. When the day to begin came, Giulio picked me punctually at my hotel and our stunning tour to the most iconic locations in Umbria started. Giulio organized the itinerary and the schedule so that for the following 7 days, we were able to photograph taking advantage of the best light to gain the maximum results from the shooting. In a couple of occasions, he also managed to fit in some truly amazing night shootings, which resulted in terrific shots of the best-looking medieval villages in the Region. In the afternoons there was time to discuss the photos taken and we also had some post-production sessions using lightroom. This part was of very important to me, because he showed me how I could edit and improve the aesthetics of my photos. Without a doubt, I did learn about photography also through these sessions. Most importantly, we spent a fantastic time while taking photos. Even after a long day there was always time to take even unplanned surprising shots of a lonely tree somewhere, unforgettable sunsets or beautiful landscapes… Italy does offer plenty of those, and Giulio always makes sure you are ready to take advantage of those surprising photo opportunities. In a few words, Giulio did really everything to make the tour unforgettable. There was not a single moment when I didn’t feel happy with the day spent. Apart from that also the selection of the hotels and restaurants was great. And finally – he is a safe and excellent driver. Like all good days these 7 days went too quickly. To come to an end, I can only thank you, Giulio, for this wonderful time which we spent together. You are a perfect teacher and additionally it is always a joy to talk and discuss with you about photography and many other topics. I strongly recommend everybody who loves photography, Italy and spending a week with a wonderful man to book a tour with Giulio. I’m sure you will love it as I did it.
